Quick Cheat for Pizza Dough
At times I get pizza cravings randomly but we all know that homemade pizza dough takes time and it needs to rest a while for the yeast to work its magic. Basically, if you want homemade pizza, you need to plan it. Well…not always!
I found my way around it with this easy dough recipe. Of course it’s not going to be exactly the same as the real pizza dough but it’s a great quick substitute if you suddenly get pizza carvings like me or you just don’t have much time! In fact let’s call it Cheatza Dough! It’s easy and the dough does not need to rest at all, which makes it super quick! Since I use wheat flour , that makes it a pretty healthy Cheatza too!
Ingredients:
- 300 g Wheat Flour
- 2 and 1/2 Teaspoons baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 250g plain yogurt
- 1 Tablespoon oil
Preparation:
- In a large bowl, mix the flour with baking powder and salt
- Next, add the yogurt and olive oil. Knead it into a soft dough.
- Your dough is ready! Roll or spread it out on your pizza pan and start adding your pizza sauce and favourite toppings!
- Bake your pizza for 15 to 20 minutes in your oven at 180C or depending on your oven.
Toppings Used : Since I wanted something quick and easy, I used finely chopped tomatoes and onions, green olives, canned tuna and of course mozzarella.
