Looking for a delicious and nutritious snack or a quick breakfast option? These homemade cereal bars are the perfect solution! They’re packed with wholesome ingredients, making them a great alternative to store-bought options and they’re refined sugar free!

How did I start making my own cereal bars?

I started making my own cereal bars when I was still at university. I really wanted to eat healthier, and I figured whipping up my own cereal bars or cereal squares would be a great way to do that. These homemade bars, along with my homemade granola, quickly became my go-to healthy breakfast choices. They’re just so convenient and satisfying!

Customize Your Cereal Bars

You can totally customize these cereal bars! Load them up with your favorite nuts, dried fruits, some honey or maple syrup for some sweetness. For my vegan friends, maple syrup works beautifully. It’s completely up to you – you can even make them pure sugar free cereal bars, relying solely on the natural sweetness of the fruits. If you’re eyeing low carb cereal bars, just adjust your fruit and nut ratios accordingly! These really are versatile oatmeal squares that you can adapt to your preference, making them a fantastic alternative to store-bought cereal bars.
