Easy Granola

What if I told you that you can make your very own granola at home? If you have been following my blog for a long time, you probably know about my cereal bars recipe. But this one is super easy and you can add in your favorite ingredients! It’s not only healthy but tasty too!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup uncooked oats
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconuts
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped almonds
  • 1/2 cup dried prunes (pureed in your blender and a few finely chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Preparation

  1. Gently roast the oats in a saucepan on the stove on medium heat.
  2. Once they become flaky and turn a little brownish, add the almonds and stir. Add the shredded coconut and leave to roast for a minute or two.
  3. Switch off the flame and pour your prunes puree and honey. Stir well.
  4. Let the mixture cool and transfer to a jar.

You can have them with milk or yogurt and top up with some extra fruits such as bananas or strawberries.
