Instructions
Whisk the butter until softened.
Add in the icing sugar. If you want to add food colouring, you can do it at this stage. Just do it droplet by droplet until you get the right colour.
Mix in the flour and corn flour in 2 parts. Half the flour and corn flour and mix. Then add the remaining part. If the dough is a little sticky, add a little bit of flour and corn flour. Form a ball.
If you're making this in summer, I suggest putiing it in the fridge to chill for some 15 minutes before baking.
Shape the biscuits: You can use a cookie cutter or you can use your hands, forming little balls and pressing them down with a fork.
Place the biscuits on a baking tray lined with a baking sheet. Bake at 160C for 12 minutes in a preheated oven.
Notes
You can get create with this dough, making various shapes. You can make different coloured dough and put them together when rolling. This would create a marble effect that can be very interesting and fun.The dough can be stored in the freezer for up to 2 months. Cling the dough and keep in a zip bag in the freezer. When you feel like baking, just remove them from the freezer for 15 minutes before rolling and shaping.
